Under his own trade name, Seppo Knuuttila has transported logs and energy wood, as well as performed lumberjack work, ploughing and stump grinding in the Imatra area since 2005. The main activity is specifically the transport of logs and energy wood, for which Knuuttila uses a Valtra 214 Versu tractor equipped with a KESLA 144HD forest trailer and 316T loader. Log transport customers include the City of Imatra with its subsidiaries and Stora Enso.

The strategic decision by KESLA to separate tractor attachments to its own business unit has borne fruit. It can be seen in all efforts and more concretely on Kesla’s stand 185 and on Lantmännen’s stand 571 at SkogsElmia exhibition in Jönköping (Sweden). The main regeneration is the totally renewed forest trailers.

The Finnish timber and industrial loader crane producer KESLA presented at FinnMETKO 2018 a new electric proC control system with 2 levers and 2 pedals or 4 levers and 2 pedals. The system is now available for all cabin-equipped cranes in KESLA’s 2019 range.

Last year the man purchased a Valtra tractor for his forestry works and in the beginning of this year he contacted Kesla for purchasing of a trailer/loader set. The new set of trailer and loader was forwarded to him in cooperation with AGCO Finland in the beginning of April.

Valtra and Kesla are leading suppliers of forestry machinery. Until now KESLA tractor attachments have been sold by two dealers in Norway: by Valtra dealer network via Valtra Unlimited Studio and directly to end customers by Øyvind Schulstadsveen, Schulstadsveen AS, since 2014. In order to strengthen the position in the market sales & service of KESLA forestry trailers and loaders will be transferred to Eikmaskin and their Valtra dealers starting 1/11/2018. The import also includes tractor-powered KESLA wood chippers.

Vehmersalmi’s Metsätyö’s Juha Mönkkonen’s one pearl of machinery is Valtra N174 Direct -tractor which is beautifully towing KESLA 122ND trailer and KESLA 316T crane. Mönkkönen relies on the loader trailer combination and especially on the traction given by the trailer.
