Kesla Plc has appointed Heidi Sederholm (M.Sc. (Tech.), MBA) as Interim Vice President, Research & Development and a member of the Management Team. The appointment strengthens Kesla’s R&D leadership during the company’s ongoing transformation phase. Sederholm will assume her position on 1 September 2026 and will report to CEO Pasi Nieminen.
Sederholm has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry and a diverse background in leading and developing technical operations and business functions. Her expertise covers product development and product management, as well as process, quality, and business development. Throughout her career, she has progressed from specialist roles in product development to leading international technology and product portfolios and holding executive management responsibilities. She has previously worked at KONE, Suunto, and Norrhydro, among others, and has served as a member of the management teams of KONE’s Finland Delivery Operations and Norrhydro.
