User-friendly harvester head makes forestry work safe and fast

Forestry contractor Ilpo Kosonen, from Parikkala (Finland), is one of Kesla’s long-term customers. In 2013, Ilpo learned about Kesla’s harvester head and the device has been a crucial part of the forestry contractor’s everyday life ever since. Living in Pieksämäki, Finland, Janne Leikas and his brother own a farming syndicate that also carries out forest work as a side business. The syndicate, Maatalousyhtymä Leikas, was originally a crop farm that was passed on to the brothers by their father in 2013. Today, daily life on the farm includes many kinds of work, in which tractors and their accessories have proven invaluable. Especially in forest work, which has been increasing in quantity, the brothers rely on Kesla’s high-quality loaders, which operate efficiently even in demanding conditions.
