Finnish Defence Forces orders Kesla’s multipurpose trailers for 2.7 million euros

The development of Kesla’s multipurpose trailers for the Finnish Defence Forces started in 2017 with the aim of developing a versatile solution for the needs of the engineer branch. The solution – an off-road capable tractor-operated multipurpose trailer complete with a loader with an extensive reach and accessories – enables pioneers to perform various tasks faster. Kesla delivered the first batch of multipurpose trailers with accessories to the Defence Forces in August 2021 and the trailers have been tested in use since then.

User-friendly harvester head makes forestry work safe and fast

Forestry contractor Ilpo Kosonen, from Parikkala (Finland), is one of Kesla’s long-term customers. In 2013, Ilpo learned about Kesla’s harvester head and the device has been a crucial part of the forestry contractor’s everyday life ever since. Today, Kesla’s general-purpose machine 25RH-II serves Ilpo in thinning, final felling and the processing of piled timber.
