Kesla presents several novelties on the FinnMETKO-exhibition in Jämsä, Finland 1.-3.9.2016. There are several small innovations but the most interesting novelties are KESLA proC-electric control system in a top-seat and KESLA proMOTION control.
Top-seat with electric KESLA proC control for test-drive
KESLA proC electric control system is now, for the first time, in a top-seat and for test-drive.
- Electric control in a top-seat has remarkable potential especially in Central European markets. The KESLA proC has now been updated weather-proof enabling electric control in an updated top-seat, tells Marko Härkönen, Sales Manager responsable for Kesla’s crane business. – The new top-seat looks also stylish and it is more ergonomical.
Kesla is now waiting for weather to cool down so that the control can be tested in properly demanding weather conditions. The control system will be ready for the market during the year 2017.
KESLA proMOTION brings new ideas to crane control
In the FinnMETKo exhibition Kesla presents a totally new way to control a timber crane. KESLA proMOTION is an intelligent control system, that automaticly steers several movements of the boom simultaneously. The control is easy to learn and use, which means in the end more efficiency. Optimized moves also mean less energy consumption.
- The control also minimizes sudden movements and vibrations, what reduces the stress taken by the crane, Härkönen states.
Small, big renewals
On the Kesla stand there are several other smaller renewals. One of them is a possibility to choose out-of-boom piping for 21 series cranes. KESLA 2112 has now got an option for integrated stabilizers in addition to separate ones. Integrated version is naturally lighter in weight. Two cranes have Lincoln central greasing system – the other one electric and the other one manual. Central greasing system is meant for 02-type of oil.
Both KESLA cabin models, the standard sized KESLA proCAB Vision and XL are for display on the stand as well. The bigger cabin has SyKlone dust control system, which minimizes the amount of inhales dust and dirt and therefore improves work safety, especially when handling energy wood.
KESLA 316T, familiar from the tractor loader range, is now available also as truck installation version. This 6-tonnemeter crane is affordable alternative, which has demand basicly outside of Central and Northern Europe.
KESLA products are shown on the stands 60, 62 and 66. In addition the KESLA chippers are in full action daily on the stand 952.
