KESLA 28RH-III is a thoroughly renewed for final felling. The head features powerful hydraulics combined with a modular frame construction, ensuring excellent power-to-weight ratio. Kesla’s unique feed roller geometry with progressive roller angle gives excellent traction and minimized friction when delimbing. This combined with powerful hydraulics enables even 36kNm delimbing force at high feeding speed, all with less fuel consumption.
KESLA 28RH-II is available as 2WD as well 3WD version featuring a bottom roller with two motors, according to the actual needs.
Thanks to the Kesla’s unique modular design, the conversion between 2WD and 3WD is possible also as retrofit, which gives more safety to the investment in the rapidly changing working environment. The head is a perfect choice for both soft and harwood logging as well as debarking eucalyptus or acacia.
Sturdy construction with large axles and bearings ensure long lifetime with less costs for maintenance. Open and clear design makes daily service and maintenance easy and convenient, while still giving excellent protection for sensitive components and hoses. KESLA 28RH-III can be equipped with several feeding motors of different size and lots of other options to match different working conditions and base machines. It is suitable to heaviest rubber-wheeled harvesters and 18-25 ton excavators.
Special attention has been paid for ease and convenience of daily maintenance. Thanks to the spacious structure of the Kesla heads, for example lubrication and change of hoses are easy to do.
Besides its extensive harvester head range suiting almost all excavator models, Kesla also provides comprehensive installation services and extensive accessory packages. Options selected by customers may include, for example, an installation kit for hydraulics, measuring and control system, Xtender boom and a full range of safety equipment.
