Kesla Oyj is a Finnish manufacturer of truck cranes, logging equipment as well as tractor-based forest technology and material handling equipment with long and traditional roots, especially as a manufac-turer of tractor-based machinery, since the 1960s. The development of Kesla’s multipurpose trailers for the Finnish Defence Forces started in 2017 with the aim of developing a versatile solution for the needs of the engineer branch. The solution – an off-road capable tractor-operated multipurpose trailer complete with a loader with an extensive reach and accessories – enables pioneers to perform various tasks faster. Kesla delivered the first batch of multipurpose trailers with accessories to the Defence Forces in August 2021 and the trailers have been tested in use since then.
