Kesla ist auf die Herstellung von Ladekränen und Erntemaschinen spezialisiert so-wie auf Forst- und Handlingsgeräte, die für die Traktorenmontage ausgelegt sind. Das traditionsreiche finnische Unternehmen begann bereits in den 1960er Jahren mit der Herstellung von Anbaugeräten für Traktoren. Das Unternehmen bringt jetzt auch für kleine 10-Tonnen-Anhänger einen starken Nabenantrieb auf den Markt.

Z-boom cranes gaining popularity

Z-boom cranes have become more common throughout Europe in recent years. The Finnish crane manufacturer Kesla estimates that Z-boom cranes already constitute almost 40% of its crane production. Alongside traditional Z-boom cranes, a front folded version has also been introduced to the market, which combines the benefits of straight-boom and Z-boom cranes.

Finnmetko exhibition: Kesla’s Tractor Equipment business unit introduces great new products

Kesla Oyj is a Finnish manufacturer of truck cranes, logging equipment as well as tractor-based forest technology and material handling equipment with long and traditional roots, especially as a manufac-turer of tractor-based machinery, since the 1960s. At the Finnmetko fair in Jämsä, Finland, on 1–3 Sep-tember 2022, Kesla’s Tractor Equipment business unit will introduce a new-generation control system for tractor loaders and a new tractor loader, KESLA 325T, which is a sister model for the 326T loader launched last year.

Finnish Defence Forces orders Kesla’s multipurpose trailers for 2.7 million euros

The development of Kesla’s multipurpose trailers for the Finnish Defence Forces started in 2017 with the aim of developing a versatile solution for the needs of the engineer branch. The solution – an off-road capable tractor-operated multipurpose trailer complete with a loader with an extensive reach and accessories – enables pioneers to perform various tasks faster. Kesla delivered the first batch of multipurpose trailers with accessories to the Defence Forces in August 2021 and the trailers have been tested in use since then.
