Update about influences of COVID-19 epidemic at Kesla

19.04.2020 Aktuelles

Kesla made already in March several procedures inside the company to ensure the safety of the staff and to lower the infection wave in Finland. Procedures include among others increased hygiene, possibility to work from home and minimizing internal and external contacts. These procedures are ongoing. Despite the situation, we do our best to serve the customers the customary way.

Delivery times of the products

Kesla production works normally. Single delays are possible though due to possible availability problems of some components and staff's absence arrangements due to schools' closures.

The situation is challenging for our customers and also for our staff. Kesla is doing its best to facilitate this new situation.

Technical support and sales

Like usually, the customer's first hand contact is whether the nearest sales or service point. You find the contact information of your nearest cooperation partner here. We do our best to support these cooperation partners of ours to solve your requests. Luckily, the technique of today enables strong support even without face-to-face contact.

Spare part sales serves normally 7-16 (Finnish time) during the work days. The phone number is: +358 40 709 2208 or mail spare.parts[at]kesla.com. Naturally we recommend that pick-up orders are ordered in advance to avoid unnecessary contacts. Also spare parts deliveries are sent normally - meaning that in best cases the ordered part is sent from Kesla during the same day.

There is a spare parts storage of most common crane spare parts at Maantec Oy in Kauklahti, Espoo. The orders are made through your dealer / service point.  If the parts are available in Kauklahti, they will be sent from there saving one working day in delivery.

Visitors

To ensure the safety of our staff and to lower the infection peak, we do not receive any guests.

Events

Kesla has canceled its attendance in all events during the quartals one and two. Some events during the 3rd quartal have been already postponed by the organizator and confirmation or cancellation of some will be done during May. The Kesla 60-year celebrations will be postponed to the autumn hoping that the situation allows the celebrations then.

Naturally the situation lives and therefore changes are possible.

Kesla continues its basic work and keeps on doing everything it can to stop the virus spreading.
