KESLA Oyj will now focus on designing and producing tractor-powered chippers and separate chipper units that the customer can mount on the wanted platform - whether on trailer, truck or stationary platform. The tractor chipper range includes two product families: the C645, available as a single or tandem axle version & the C860T equipped with a tandem axle.

Itämoto Oy has been in operation since 2014, with its headquarters in Tolosenmäki, Kitee. The company’s equipment includes two John Deere harvesters, one built on excavator as a base machine and one Sampo Rosenlew forwarder. The company performs contract work for Stora Enso through Tähtimetsä in the Kitee, Tohmajärvi and Rääkkylä areas.

Transport of energy wood and logs in Imatra

Under his own trade name, Seppo Knuuttila has transported logs and energy wood, as well as performed lumberjack work, ploughing and stump grinding in the Imatra area since 2005. The main activity is specifically the transport of logs and energy wood, for which Knuuttila uses a Valtra 214 Versu tractor equipped with a KESLA 144HD forest trailer and 316T loader. Log transport customers include the City of Imatra with its subsidiaries and Stora Enso.

Kesla’s new tractor forest trailer range for display at SkogsElmia

The strategic decision by KESLA to separate tractor attachments to its own business unit has borne fruit. It can be seen in all efforts and more concretely on Kesla’s stand 185 and on Lantmännen’s stand 571 at SkogsElmia exhibition in Jönköping (Sweden). The main regeneration is the totally renewed forest trailers.

KESLA tractor forest trailer and loader were a natural choice for the snowboarder Roope Tonteri

Snowboarder, double big air and one time slopestyle world champion Roope Tonteri is a full-blooded forester. Last year the man purchased a Valtra tractor for his forestry works and in the beginning of this year he contacted Kesla for purchasing of a trailer/loader set. The new set of trailer and loader was forwarded to him in cooperation with AGCO Finland in the beginning of April.
