The Association for Finnish Work (Suomalaisen työn liitto) organized a week of open house days between 3rd and 9th of October 2022. Any and all Finnish companies were encouraged to host their own open house for the public and offer a peek behind their operations. The aim of the campaign was to highlight the importance of Finnish work, and offer the public the opportunity to get to know the various companies in their local area.
Kesla participated in the campaign by organizing its own open house in Kesälahti on Tuesday 4th of October, and in Joensuu on Thursday 5th of October. Visitors were offered various activities to choose from, such as guided tours in Kesla’s production facilities, a chance to test out Kesla’s products, a 3D-scanning presentation, simulators, and a spare-parts auction. In addition, Kesla’s long-time partner, Youtuber Metsäman, was also present.

Jätkä-Juho is a company with a 12-year-old entrepreneur, Juho Kemppainen, selling lumberjack’s candles, birdhouses and firewood in Hyrynsalmi. The company annually brings up to 5,000 ready-made lumberjack’s candles to the market, thanks to Finnish machinery and high-quality wood material.

Kesla participated in the FinnMETKO exhibition in Jämsä, Finland, from September 1st to September 3rd 2022. FinnMETKO is one of the largest forestry and heavy machinery events held in the Nordic countries, with plenty of both Finnish and international visitors.
Kesla's stand at the event exhibited a wide range of new machine innovations, offered an opportunity to meet experts, and organized activities for visitors in the form of live music and meet-and-greets.

Kesla Oyj is a Finnish manufacturer of truck cranes, logging equipment as well as tractor-based forest technology and material handling equipment with long and traditional roots, especially as a manufac-turer of tractor-based machinery, since the 1960s. At the Finnmetko fair in Jämsä, Finland, on 1–3 Sep-tember 2022, Kesla’s Tractor Equipment business unit will introduce a new-generation control system for tractor loaders and a new tractor loader, KESLA 325T, which is a sister model for the 326T loader launched last year.

Wood is a renewable and carbon-neutral energy source, and logging residual and material from early thinnings can be chipped for energy. The demand for chippers has increased in 2022. Besides traditional round timber handling, KESLA cranes can be used for the efficient feeding of chippers or crushers of any make.

The development of Kesla’s multipurpose trailers for the Finnish Defence Forces started in 2017 with the aim of developing a versatile solution for the needs of the engineer branch. The solution – an off-road capable tractor-operated multipurpose trailer complete with a loader with an extensive reach and accessories – enables pioneers to perform various tasks faster. Kesla delivered the first batch of multipurpose trailers with accessories to the Defence Forces in August 2021 and the trailers have been tested in use since then.
